Company History

  • Foundation & Pioneering Period (1974–1987)

    Gebrüder Josef, Anton, and Alois Renggli founded Gebrüder Renggli AG in 1974 in Schaffhausen. What began as a small business quickly evolved: in 1979, the company relocated to its current site in Schweizerbild. By 1987, a new warehouse was added – a clear sign of continuous growth and entrepreneurial foresight.

  • With the construction of new administration, tooling, and storage facilities in 2000, Renggli set the course for the future. A major milestone followed in 2001: the company commissioned its first ISO 7 class cleanroom for assembly – a clear commitment to the stringent requirements of medical technology. In 2004, Renggli successfully integrated its experienced partner, Lotsch Werkzeug- und Formenbau.

    Technological Progress & Cleanroom Expertise (2000–2004)

  • Generational Transition & Expansion of MedTech Manufacturing (2012–2021)

    In 2012, company leadership passed to the second generation under Urs Renggli, marking the beginning of a phase of technical advancement. In 2016, an additional cleanroom at Plant 5 was commissioned. In 2021, Renggli expanded its reach through a partnership with Hubertus Goller GmbH in Klosterneuburg – strengthening its position in the German-speaking market as a specialized supplier of medical technology assemblies.

  • Since 2022, Gebrüder Renggli AG has been part of the TT medic Group. Under the leadership of Roland Martin, the company now combines its longstanding expertise with the structures of a powerful corporate group. Renggli remains a reliable partner for high-precision plastic solutions – with a clear focus on medical technology, quality, and top-tier cleanroom production.
